Registration for September 2026 is closed. Registration process for September 2027 begins in January 2027. Applications will be available in early January each year. Early childhood screening is a way of observing a child’s development in areas such as speech and language, learning, social growth, fine and gross motor, vision and hearing. A screening can provide information about a child’s strengths and areas of weakness, and also provides an opportunity for parents to discuss their concerns. Learn more about screening 

We currently have limited openings in our PM session.

Applications for the 2027-28 school year will be available on January 4^th on our website or in-person at CHECP.   Children must be three years old by September 1st to enroll. Children living in Acton or Boxborough are eligible to apply and attend the program based on space availability.  Given the anticipated number of applications expected for September enrollment, admission for new students
will occur through a lottery.  We are projecting all classes to meet four days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. The hours are expected to be 8:15–11:00 and 12:00-2:45 for half day sessions; 8:15-2:45 for full day sessions.  Please read the cover letter attached to the application for more information about the process.
